Event Schedule

The 2009 “It’s a Wonderful House” event will feature a walking tour of the Village at Chateau Elan.  Six private homes, fully decorated for the holidays, will be open for touring (click here to view the tour homes).  Each of the remaining seventy-five homes in this picturesque Village will feature imaginative exterior holiday design.  Also included will be a variety of dining, shopping and musical entertainment, all carefully planned to create a magical wonderland celebrating the best of the season. 

Complimentary parking is provided at the Chateau Elan Sports Club (click here for directions to the Sports Club).  During the event, tickets may be purchased at the Sports Club for $25 each, or click here to purchase tickets in advance for $20 each.

Special Events

Located on the tour, the Gift Shoppe will be open during tour hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Shop for something special for someone or treat yourself. Choose from a festive array of gifts, clothing, decorative accessories, seasonal greenery and original art. Be an angel…20% of your purchase will be donated to the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter!

The Village Bakery

The Village Bakery will offer an assortment of holiday sweets. Homemade baked goods supplied by the talented women residents of Chateau Élan and other gifted bakers in our area. We will offer all your holiday favorites; cookies, breads, sweet rolls, candy, cakes and more. The Village Bakery will also carry hot and cold beverages; soft drinks, water, coffee, hot chocolate and warm spiced cider. What a sweet stop this will be during your visit to It’s a Wonderful House – A Village Christmas.
